I Broke a Rule

I broke the rule

When I was in grade seven, I felt that I was so lucky because of the opportunity to start a new academic pursuit  as a high school student. When our  teacher in Navotas National High School told us the rules and regulations, I thought that I should follow the all of them since these will make me more disciplined  and eventually help me get good grades in school. One of those rules is to avoid being late and absent in school. Since I was in the morning class, I have to sleep early in order to avoid being late in school.

One day I woke up late. Monday is when we have our flag ceremony. I ate my breakfast, I took a bath and I wear my uniform. However, I came to school late. Trembling in fear, I and my other schoolmates were asked by the teacher in charge to write the reasons why we were late in a ¼ sheet of paper. The teacher warned us not to be late again. I felt so disappointed   to myself because I belonged in a higher section and being there means that I have to be a model of discipline and punctuality.

In that situation I realized that following rules is important to us and I also realize that the rules are built for our own sake. We should follow rules to give respect   to everyone because if we follow rules all people have a discipline to themselves.

After watching the video about child labor, I felt pity because of the children working in the early ages. Instead of studying in school they are working in the fields to get their daily needs. I admire them not in the way of working in the early ages but in sacrificing in helping their parents to get their daily needs. I think we have to pay attention to them because it is the sign of increasing poverty in our country.

I think we have to help them like giving them education, their daily needs like foods and clothes to have a better life. Being a student I will encourage other people to stop child labor because this is one of the problem of our country and to help children who suffering child labor to have an education to be able achieve their goal.

I realized that we have to give importance in other people, who needs our help and to realize to them that education is important in every person. I’m lucky because I am not like other children working for their needs and I have an education that will help me to achieve my goal. I hope that we will study the different problems in our country for us to give our opinions about the problems in our country.

Achieving a Goal

                                                                   My Goal
Making a Microsoft PowerPoint is so difficult for me when I was in grade eight because I have no idea about this and on how will I use it to my study. Knowing on how to make a Microsoft PowerPoint is maybe my goal someday to be a better student.

When I was in grade eight, our teacher told us to make our family background using a Microsoft PowerPoint. Our teacher also told us for those who already know on how to make a PowerPoint that they can teach their classmates who really don’t know  how to make a PowerPoint. I tried to ask for a help to my classmate to teach me but he said that he had no time to teach me.

I made my PowerPoint with the help of watching youtube on how to make a PowerPoint that is easy to understand. After many days I learned how to make a PowerPoint, I also learned the different animations, designs, backgrounds and other about PowerPoint.

I realized that Microsoft PowerPoint  is important to me for being a student because I can make reports, projects and lessons using  the Microsoft PowerPoint. I thought that I already achieved my goal to learn Microsoft PowerPoint and to be a better student.
